The Kodenkan Martial Arts Academy offers a large array of programs for both children and adults. Feel free to drop in to observe a class.

Matsunoryu Jujitsu
Matsunoryu jujitsu offers solid self defense training, with practical striking, grappling and throwing techniques.
We offer two different classes, a class for adults as a family jujitsu class, structured for both adults and children.
Mixed Martial Arts
Hiraido jujitsu focuses on striking, grappling and throwing techniques, with an emphasis on striking and physical conditioning. If they choose, students may participate in light to medium contact sparring and grappling, wearing protective gloves and headgear. For teens and adults.
Karate
Karate is the most well-known of the martial arts. The karate classes offered at the Kodenkan Martial Arts Academy are very traditional, with instruction on striking and kicking techniques, practice forms (kata) and meditation. For teens and adults.
Danzan Ryu Jujitsu
Danzan Ryu Jujitsu is one of the foremost styles of jujitsu, and is the backbone of several modern jujitsu styles. This class focuses on the mental, emotional and physical development of the students through martial arts practice, and is intended for all ages. For children, teens and adults.
Judo
Our judo classes are intended for families looking for a fun, healthy activity for their children to enjoy. These classes teach simple, safe classical jujitsu and judo techniques, with an emphasis on discipline, self-control and integrity. For children ages 6 and up.
Little Dragons
Our Little Dragons program is great after-school activity for children. This karate class for children teaches basic techniques, rolls and falls. For children ages 4 through 6.
Cardio Karate
Cardio Karate is a fun aerobic workout set to music. Students practice basic self defense techniques at their own pace. For teens and adults.
